An April Affair began with a simple intention: to make sure you feel supported, seen, and at ease as you plan one of the most meaningful days of your life. Since 2010, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside couples as they create wedding experiences that feel personal, grounded, and deeply reflective of who they are.

With a background in event planning, hospitality, and counseling, I support you not just on your wedding day—but in the moments leading up to it. Whether I’m standing with you at the altar, calmly guiding the flow of your day, or helping you have the conversations that matter most before marriage, my role is always the same: to offer steady presence, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care.

    An April Affair was established in 2010 with a simple but powerful goal: to create wedding experiences that feel personal, thoughtful, and well cared for.

    From the beginning, I’ve been passionate about listening closely to couples, understanding their vision, and bringing it to life through meaningful details and seamless execution. I believe the best events aren’t just beautiful—they feel intentional, organized, and reflective of the people at the center of them.

    My calm, approachable demeanor and strong communication style have allowed me to build lasting relationships not only with clients, but also with venue managers and trusted vendors—ensuring each wedding day runs smoothly from start to finish.

    As I worked with more couples, one truth became clear: as the wedding day approaches, overwhelm often sets in.

    Many couples are balancing demanding careers, family responsibilities, and full lives while trying to plan one of the most meaningful days they’ll ever experience. I recognized a real need for support—someone to step in, manage the details, and create ease during an otherwise stressful season.

    This led me to offer Day-of Coordination as a Certified Wedding Professional, allowing couples to fully enjoy their day while knowing their vision was being carried out with care and precision.

    My intention has always been the same: to make this season of life easier, calmer, and more joyful.

    With over 15 years of experience in event planning, and a professional foundation in Hospitality Management and Counseling, my work naturally began to expand beyond logistics.

    I became an ordained minister and earned a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling, which allowed me to cross over the aisle—shifting my focus not only to weddings, but to the marriages that follow.

    This evolution led me to serve couples as both a wedding officiant and premarital counseling coach, creating space for intentional conversations, emotional preparation, and relational growth before couples say “I do.”
